For a long time portrayed by the actor Desmond Llewelyn (from 1963 until 1999 with The World Is Not Enough), Agent Q, the inventor of spy gadgets, appears again in the James Bond saga in Skyfall, under the appearance of Ben Whishaw after 13 years of absence. Agent Q gets a new lease on life and new, ever more sophisticated gadgets.
